Drop-in fee (with advance notice and instructor permission): $45.00

Most classes are 6 weeks long, one hour a week, unless the list above or the schedule says otherwise. Between classes you can reach your instructor by email and phone as often as you need. If you miss a class, you can make it up.

We believe we offer outstanding value: small classes with lots of individual attention in a beautiful facility, a caring and professional staff, and email and phone support outside of class.

Home Obedience & Manners packages

Prices effective May 2025, sales tax included.

With a multi-class package you may enroll in, or transfer to, a different class you qualify for (including any performance class) at no penalty, as long as there’s space in that class.

Family, multi-class and multi-dog discounts

We value students who take several classes or train several dogs, so each additional class or dog paid for in the same transaction costs less (see “Each additional class or dog” above). For our 6-week classes:

• Enrolling more than six dogs, or taking more than six classes at once? Contact the office for additional discounts.
• All classes must be paid for at the same time, in one transaction, to get the discount.
• Multi-dog class discounts aren’t available for pro-rated sessions, class credits, other coupons or deals, etc.
• Registering online? Buy a package, then use it when you sign up for the class you want.

Package expiration and make-ups

• Enroll in your future classes within 180 days of purchase.
• Make-ups must be done during the current session of classes, unless other arrangements have been made and confirmed by our office in writing.
• Make-ups can’t be carried forward into future sessions, or pro-rated and applied to future classes. You can do a make-up before the class you’ll miss.
• Check our make-up options, then contact the office to let us know which class you’ll attend.

Private lessons

For families who prefer one-on-one training, or dogs with specific behavior problems. Read about private lessons, then call or email the office with what you need. Private lessons are not subject to sales tax.

*Ask about discounts that may be available for long-term and performance students who need extra instruction outside their regular class.

Gift certificates

Know a family with a new puppy? The best gift you can give them is a gift certificate to Family Dog Training Center. Gift certificates can be bought for any amount and used for any of our services and products: classes, private lessons, leashes, treats, chew toys and more.

Coupons and discounts

• Registering online with a coupon but no coupon code? Contact the office for your coupon’s code.
• Vouchers, coupons, certificates etc. must be used at the time of registration. If not used then, they can’t be credited back to you, as they have no cash value.
• Vouchers, coupons, certificates etc. can only be used for 6-week group classes (unless otherwise stated) and can’t be combined with multi-class discounts, other coupons or deals.

Payment methods

We accept credit cards, personal checks, cashier’s checks, certified checks, money orders and cash.

These are administrative processing fees.

Seminars and workshops for your group

Our staff can give presentations to all types of groups on subjects from behavior problem solving to choosing the right dog, competition obedience, conformation handling, dog/owner relationships and more. Cost varies; contact the office with what you need.
