Beginning Agility has one prerequisite. Your dog must have trained through at least Advanced Home Obedience with Family Dog, or have equivalent training through competition obedience or another training school, with the instructor’s permission. That way class time goes to agility, not basic obedience.

Is this the right class for my dog?
Whether you want recreational agility (for fun and exercise) or competitive agility (for fun, exercise and earning titles), we have a class for you. It’s a good fit if:
- Your dog has finished Advanced Home Obedience with us, or has equivalent training.
- You want a positive approach. We train agility the same way we train in all our classes.
- You want to keep going. Off-leash control is needed to move up to Intermediate and Advanced Agility.

A safe place to learn
Our 5,800 square foot Kent facility has a full-size, lighted, heated indoor agility area. All our equipment is professionally made and inspected regularly to make sure it’s safe and secure.
Shopping around? Watch for these red flags: off-leash, out-of-control dogs; poorly managed or crowded classes; buildings or arenas that aren’t totally escape-proof; and unsafe or unsteady equipment.
