Puppy Manners

A fun, gentle start for young puppies. Your pup plays with friends their own size and learns the basics, and you get answers to your puppy-raising questions, from house training to chewing.

  • Ages Under 5 months when class begins (toy breeds under 9 months)
  • Length 6 weekly one-hour classes (some sessions are 5 weekly 75-minute classes)
  • Cost $255 for a 6-week session, sales tax included

The first week is for people only. Week 1 is an orientation for you and your family, so please leave your puppy at home. Bring your puppy starting in week 2.

Play & socialization

Puppies are paired up for play time by size, personality and confidence, so every pup has a good time.

Everyday manners

Walking on leash, sit and down, sitting to say hello, and coming when called.

Confidence building

Puppy-sized agility equipment builds confidence and makes learning fun.

Puppy-raising help

House training, chewing and other problem behaviors, plus nail trimming, teeth brushing and more.

Is this the right class for my puppy?

Puppy Manners is for puppies under 5 months when class begins, or toy breeds under 9 months. The age range is flexible. We also consider your puppy’s size, confidence and maturity. Not sure? Send us a message and we’ll help you choose.

Is your puppy older? Start with Beginning Home Obedience.

Bring the family

Everyone in your family is encouraged to come to every class with your puppy. Very young children, or kids with short attention spans, may find the first-week orientation (a talk and demonstration) hard to sit through.
