Dog sports, for fun or for titles
After home obedience, keep training with a sport you and your dog both enjoy. It keeps your dog’s skills sharp, and it’s fun.
Choose a sport
Agility, tricks and rally run most often, but we offer much more. Each page explains who the class is for and what you need first.

Agility
Learn to guide your dog safely over the A-frame, dog walk, teeter, weave poles, tunnels and jumps, for fun or competition.

Rally Obedience
Obedience and teamwork on a course of signs, from on-leash novice to off-leash masters. A great step toward competition obedience.

Trick Dog Training
Shake, roll over, crawl and more, working toward AKC Trick Dog Novice, Intermediate and Advanced titles.

Nosework
Put your dog’s natural scenting ability to work. Any breed, age or ability can do it, just for fun or as a sport.

Competition Obedience Practice
Practice Beginner Novice and Novice exercises around other dogs, whether you’re prepping for trials or just starting out.

Breed Ring
Learn to gait, stack, bait and present your own dog in the conformation ring, from first show to championship.

Before you start
Built on good manners
We use the same positive approach in our sports classes as in all our classes. So class time goes to the sport, not basic obedience:
- Beginning Agility needs at least Advanced Home Obedience with us, or equivalent training with the instructor’s OK.
- Off-leash control is needed to move up to Intermediate and Advanced Agility.
- Our agility area is full-size, lighted, heated and indoors, with professionally made equipment that’s inspected regularly.
Private performance lessons
One-on-one help with agility, competition obedience, rally, breed ring and more: $70 for an hour in our facility.
